Though girls varsity basketball team lost against McLean High School 49-59, they finished the season with a successful record of 17 wins and nine losses. Like the girls varsity basketball team, the freshman team also ended their season with a successful run with 12 wins and only four losses.

Girls varsity basketball team gains new record win

Sophomore Tammy Ding and junior Mia Yang compete in a relay at VHSL Region 5C Indoor Championships. Whether indoor or not, Ding finds track to be a blessing. “It’s so easy to get caught up in small matters—which can easily ruin your day—but I find that track helps me relax and detoxify,” Ding said.
