Jefferson’s boys varsity lacrosse team lost to West Springfield 5-13 on Wednesday, March 23.

Junior and captain Justin Yoo saw a few areas that needed improvement before Tuesday’s game against Edison.

“We need to cut down our unforced turnovers and communicate better on defense,” Yoo said.

This coupled with bad weather and a struggling offense contributed to the loss on Wednesday. Yoo attributes hustle and grit to the close second half.

“We started off slow but kept hustling. The second half was a much closer game,” Yoo said.
