Aumena Choudhry, Team Leader
A senior at Jefferson, Aumena is in her fourth year of working in the tjToday staff. She has a strong passion for writing - as seen in winning the Essays on Technology competition in middle school, and later winning Regional Gold Key in the Scholastic Writing Awards. In freshman year, she initially joined tjToday to deepen her knowledge about journalism and further hone her writing skills. Aumena was a Staff Writer for freshman, sophomore, and junior year. As a Team Leader, Aumena manages a team of students and revises articles for the online tjToday. She also designs spreads for the print issue and writes both online and print articles. Outside of journalism, Aumena enjoys pursuing scientific research projects, calligraphy, and jogging.
