Katherine Hughes
I am a freshman and I am a staff writer on tjTODAY. This is my first year working on any school publications. I joined the tjTODAY staff to be like Rory Gilmore from one of my favorite TV shows, Gilmore Girls. She rose through the ranks to become the editor-in-chief of the Yale Daily News and while filling out my course selection sheet, I decided I wanted to be like her. Outside of school, I was formerly a nationally ranked Scottish Highland Dancer and I have continued participating in dance through joining TJ's dance team. I love reading, traveling, eating good food, and spending time with my friends and family.
