News Brief: Varsity girls tennis wins scrimmage

The Jefferson girl’s tennis team wins against West Potomac High school with a score of 8-1. “I’m really excited that the season started,” senior A.J. Seo said.

The girl’s varsity tennis team won a scrimmage against West Potomac High School on Mar. 11 with a score of 8-1. 

This was their first scrimmage of the season, and it consisted of a total of 9 games. Out of the nine, six were singles and three were doubles. The team also had a stuffed animal spirit day the day of the scrimmage. 

“I had a lot of fun. It was a bummer that the first one on Wednesday got rained out,” senior A.J. Seo said.
