Here’s some more information regarding this morning’s announcements:

Want to be roasted by Mr. Carey or serenaded by Dr. Osborne, and like food, prizes, and trivia, then join us for Trivia Night 2.0, held from 4:30 to 6:00 P.M. in the Cafeteria this Friday, May 18th! Teams of up to five members will compete to answer the most trivia questions correctly for honor, glory, and $100 in Amazon gift cards. If you would like to register your team for Trivia Night, or find out more information about the event, check the pinned post on Ion or the Facebook event on the SGA Facebook page.

Do you enjoy organizing events or are interested in student government? Then consider running for class council! EVERYTHING you need to know about elections can be found in the class council election packet posted on Facebook and Ion. If you have any questions, email SGA at [email protected]!

Beth Tudan, Executive Director of the League of Women Voters of the Fairfax Area, and Brian Cannon, Executive Director of OneVirginia2021, will be visiting TJ during both A and B blocks this Friday, May 18th to discuss gerrymandering and other voting rights issues. With several gerrymandering cases being litigated through the courts, now is as exciting a time as ever to learn about this limitation on our democracy and of ways to engage in the civic process. Make sure to sign up on Ion.

Rising seniors can now apply on Ion for next year’s Parking passes. Rising Seniors have until May 18th to apply early.
