      Hey TJ! As we move into the new year, TJ Broadcast Hey TJ! As we move into the new year, TJ Broadcast explored the presence of imposter syndrome (feeling like a fraud among one’s peers) within the TJ community, and how deeply it has affected TJ students.

“Think differently - reframe your mindset.” freshman Zac Baker said on combatting his own imposter syndrome. “Escape that feeling that you need to be as good as everybody else, and realize that sometimes just doing the best you can do is all that you can do.”

      As 2020 comes to a close, tjTODAY reflects on the As 2020 comes to a close, tjTODAY reflects on the joyous moments during these trying times. From quarantine binge-watching to snow-covered sidewalks, 2020 has taught us to be grateful.

“This year has been much different than others,” sophomore Aryan Rajput said. “Even though it has been tough, I think we, as a community, have been able to persevere through it.”

“I think we’re just going to try and cook a lot, and keep ourselves as busy as possible,” junior Liam D’Souza-Bohannon said.

      • TJ AD differs from other quiz competition teams at Jefferson. “The main difference between AD and clubs like the Science and Bio Olympiads are the range of topics that competitors are tested on. Sci Oly and Bio Oly focus on science, but AD tests on a lot more than that. It could be thought of as similar to Quizbowl, but Quizbowl focuses solely on testing knowledge, and AD has the essay, interview, and speech portions too,” junior Sameesksha Garg said.
