When you think of the words reliable, open-minded, and lively, the name Manya should immediately pop into your head. Despite being only 5’2, she is overflowing with curiosity, chi, and cheerfulness. Being a freshman at Jefferson, this is Manya’s first year on staff. Although she has no background in journalism, she is excited to learn design and photography skills, and also hopes to grow as a writer this year.
Aside from working with TJ Media, she aspires to pursue a career in Biology, and perhaps do the Biotechnology senior lab. Manya enjoys swimming, playing tennis, and listening to a mix of music genres in her free time. You can often catch her watching movies such as Love Simon, or sleeping, as she is a sleep enthusiast. Plus, she’s a Gemini (as if she wasn’t awesome already).
