Junior Hannah Pho has been playing music since before most students could read or write. Her passion for music was recently awarded with a position in the All-Virginia Chorus.

Pho is one of the 66 Fairfax County Public School (FCPS) students who will be performing at Hanover High School in Mechanicsburg on April 27 as part of the choral group. The program is sponsored by the Virginia Choral Directors Association, an affiliated unit of the Virginia Music Educators Association.

“I really like the music choices  this year. We are currently practicing one gospel song called ‘Haste of the Nymph,’“ Pho said. “I like how our voices blend together when we are singing the arrangements.”
