Orchestra and Band are some of the largest teams in the TJ community, requiring months of practicing and rehearsing for concerts. But with the pandemic inhibiting large gatherings, this has created some newfound obstacles for the Music Department at TJ. Teachers such as Allision Bailey and Steve Ballard have to adjust their curriculum to accommodate online learning, and students like sophomore Savar Shrivastava and senior Grace Cha share how online band and orchestra have impacted their practices.
