News Brief: Jefferson Wrestling competes in quad-meet

The Jefferson Varsity Wrestling team competed in a quad-meet at Falls Church High School on Jan. 25, where they faced off against Wakefield, Edison, and Falls Church.
The team won one round against Falls Church 35-33, and lost against Edison and Wakefield.
“We started out well, but our performance got worse as the meet went on. We wrestled hard but we still need to work on a bit of technique,” freshman Rushil Umaretiya said.
