It is tradition for girls to ask guys to dance with them in the annual Sadies Hawkins Dance. This year, asking week occurred from Apr. 29 to May 3, with the dance happening on May 10. Here we present some photo highlights from asking week.
In the courtyard dozens of musicians joined in the asking of freshmen Nathaniel Tewodros and Jinwoo Kim by freshmen Catherine Pak and Erin Tran. Spectators crowded the scene and joined in singing Take Me Home Country Road. “I was really nervous and I was so off beat for Careless Whisper [it was] honestly embarrassing, but Take Me Home Country Road slapped," Pak said.
