      A Jefferson senior stands tall with their Jefferson cap and gown. While the exact number is unclear, counselor Sean Burke says that all the seniors who received the letter appealed and will be allowed to walk at graduation. Despite this, the letter had a chilling effect on seniors. “I think the timing of it is messed up,” senior Bella Lee-Truesdell said. “It’s super unfair to let these students know on a Tuesday, when they’re graduating on Saturday, that they aren’t being allowed to walk.”
