Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) Supervisor Dr. Karen Garza has announced that the county will be releasing the official budget to the media on Tuesday, Jan. 4 at 11:00 a.m. The budget for the 2016-17 Fiscal Year (FY) will include solutions to FCPS’ estimated shortfall of $70 million, a number suggested in the county’s FY 2017 fiscal forecast last November.

A bi-monthly school board meeting will also be held on Jan. 4 at 7:00 p.m. at Luther Jackson Middle School. More Information about FCPS board meetings and meeting minutes can be found here.
