The student and staff panelists express their ideas for innovative solutions to school issues. The goal wasnt just for us to answer the questions, but for us to have a discussion with each other while the crowd of faculty in the audience listened, junior panelist Alex Reichel said.

Peter Gabor teaches a variety of courses at Jefferson ranging from Artificial Intelligence to Machine Learning. He feels that, while some issues for the school board may seem apparent to him, others may not recognize their significance. “If elected, my purpose there would
be to ask pointed questions that I think are sort of obvious,” Gabor said. “I see and interact with students every day, so I think that those types
of questions are obvious anyway, but I would at least ask them to people who might not interact with students on a regular basis.”

Students’ artworks are on display at the art gallery throughout the month of October, adorning the walls to create a spooky atmosphere. “Seeing all the creative works that people have made are really interesting and inspiring,” junior Abigail Lee said.

During Callback, junior Ella Tysse, playing Cam, leans eagerly over a table to talk to freshman Vyaas Raj, who plays Reuben. “Here, Cam is asking for directions as she and Robin make a pitstop, and Reuben is the head of the tourist shop for Nebraska’s largest ball of twine,” senior Mayuka Valluri said.
