Alana Watkins is a senior at Jefferson, and in her first year of tjTODAY. She has always been deeply involved with the world of sports. She has experience playing softball, track, volleyball and competitive cheer. Her involvement in the sports world ignited her future aspiration of becoming a sports journalist. She is very involved with the Jefferson community through her role as historian on the senior class council, and her officer position in the American Sign Language club. She is also very involved with her community outside of school. Alana writes articles for a summer baseball league team, the D.C. Grays and volunteers.
