Ahwanith Islam is a freshman currently taking photojournalism. He has prior experience writing and editing through creating educational and traveling videos on his Facebook and YouTube. He particularly enjoys how easily a picture can convey a story, and the different impact it has on people compared to words. Ahwanith plans to take photo journalism for all four years of his high school career. He enjoys bringing awareness to problems and, in the future, plans to bring awareness to the problems in nations which are continuously forgotten. He likes getting to know people’s stories, however he doesn’t like things that are not detailed enough.
